INTRODUCING THE VILLA GETAWAYS | ESCAPE IN PHUKET, THAILAND

If you are dreaming about turquoise water and white sand beaches, rocky peninsulas, limestones cliffs, adventures in the jungle and elephant treks, your dreams could definitely come true in Phuket, Thailand. To me, Phuket is the ideal destination where you can combine days laying down on the beach and travel adventures. So Voila, if you are ready to go but still hesitate about where to stay, I found what you were looking for: Villa Getaways. This luxury Villa rental company offers the best villas around South East Asia. You can choose whichever Villa fits you the best and all of them are beyond spectacular!

Bienvenue at Villa Baan Banyan 4403 - Kamala, Phuket

When I started my research on Villa Getaways website this stunning place caught my attention right away. The luxury property is surrounded by jungle, perched on a peaceful hillside, an incredible view with a private access to the sea along a footpath leading to a rocky cove. If you like tranquility and meditation The Baan Banyan could be the perfect place to wake up practicing yoga or watch a stunning sunset while drinking fresh coconut water.

The Villa has a contemporary design with seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces that allow guests to enjoy its tropical seaside setting to the fullest. Its expansive living, dining and entertainment areas are set in one large three-level pavilion, fronted by a large terrace and infinity swimming pool.

Baan Banyan Phuket's four large master bedrooms set in two separate pavilions offer unsurpassed privacy and space for groups. Each of these spacious suites are furnished with king-sized beds, private balconies, walk-in wardrobes and luxurious ensuite bathrooms with double bathtubs (two with Jacuzzi jets), double vanities and large showers with teak doors that open to the balcony. The two top-floor master bedrooms feature four-poster wooden beds set under a dramatic vaulted ceiling. HEAVEN.

ACTIVITIES

There are so many things to enjoy in Phuket and around The Villa. My first recommendation is for people who feel adventurous: Paddle Asia is offering kayak excursions, jungle trekking and safari tours. You will get the opportunity to see and experiment the wild life of Phuket in a very intimate way - These tours are only made for small group of people - perfect for you and your friends staying at The Villa!

Relaxing on the beach is also one of the main activities in Phuket. Of course you can go cliff jumping, snorkeling, scuba diving in the clearest water on earth but you can also get a delightful Thai massage without moving from your sun lounger and enjoy the white sand of Kamala beach.

Kamala is about 10 minutes away from The Villa. It feels more like a little Thai village than other towns on Phuket, you don't need to walk far to find an unaffected place or enjoy an authentic meal at a restaurant that sees more locals than tourists.

But if you want entertainment, as night falls, don’t miss the Phuket Fantasea, a huge Vegas-style spectacular. This theme park boasts a carnival atmosphere and features hundreds of performers in elaborate traditional costumes, including trapeze artists and performing elephants.

CULTURE

Foodies - Phuket cuisines combines Chinese, Malay and Thai elements to create brightly colored and heavily spiced dishes. So if you go there, be sure to experiment the Kaeng Khiaw-Waan, famous sweet green curry, Miam!

Buddhist Temples - Wat Baan Kamala is a lovely Buddhist temple located not far from The Villa. It is truly a spiritual centre for the locals and has been there a long time. Located on the seafront at the southern end of the village, Kamala Temple features a main chapel (or ubosot in Thai), a bell tower and many Buddha images and statues depicting his life.

GETTING THERE

Phuket airport has international flights. Kamala is about 10 minutes away from the villa and is located only about half an hour from the International Airport. Noting a rental car is worth considering to get around the island.

So Voila, hope to see you there to enjoy #TheGetawayLife - Bisous!
