I spent a good part of my summer traveling in France, back home, where we have so many great places to explore. First stop, the famous French Riviera, a timeless and unique coast on the Mediterranean sea. Le Rayol-Canadel-Sur-Mer is a charming and quiet village located right before St Tropez. Relaxation, peace and quality of life is au rendez-vous! I met up with my Parisian friends for endless afternoons at the pool, garden explorations and beach sunsets - Le paradis!

My favorite part was the visit of Les Jardins de la Méditerranée. It contains a number of areas dedicated to plants of the Mediterranean basin. There is so much to see and learn in this garden. You will find a delicious all organic café-restaurant on site as well as a library of plant books you can look at. Note that in September there is a plant sale on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 2pm to closing time.

Already thinking about my next trip there... Spring and Summer are the best seasons to go and Fall as well if you are not too scared to swim in a colder sea. Not far from Nice, you should not hesitate to stop by, enjoy the view and also visit the islands around (Porquerolles: where you find the French finest beaches). So voilà, bisous!
